Fruity Marmalade with roi Lemon rooibos tea

Ingredients for Servings

  • 2 table spoon Roi Lemon
  • 350 ml hot water
  • 10 organic oranges
  • 700 g jam sugar (2:1)

We associate homemade orange marmalade with your classic British Bed and Breakfast. Whether you like it on toast, bagels or scones, it is its tangy, bitter taste that makes it so popular. A perfect way to cleanse the palette after a fry up! We have revolutionised the classic by mixing it with our Roi Lemon tea. Go on! Give it a try...

  1. Pour the loose Roi Lemon leaf tea into a tea egg, infuse with hot water and leave to brew.

  2. Press the oranges and scrape out the flesh so that you have about 350 g of flesh and 700 ml of juice.

  3. Place the finished tea with the pulp, orange juice and jam sugar in a saucepan and bring to the boil at high heat. Simmer for at least 4 minutes, stirring constantly.

  4. Pour the hot mixture into glasses and allow to cool.

  5. Kleiner Tipp: Nachdem die heiße Marmelade in die Gläser gefüllt wurde, die Gläser zum Abkühlen auf den Kopf stellen.
