recipe for Apple Marmalade with Red Ruby


Ingredients for Servings

  • 2 TL Red Ruby
  • 200 ml hot Wasser
  • 1 kg sour apple
  • 150 g jam sugar
  • 1 tea spoon cinnamon
  • 1 table spoon lemon juice

A red apple jam? We promise you'll love our quirky marmalade creation! Our Red Ruby makes this marmalade extra fruity whilst giving it its eye catching colour. Enjoy with a fresh croissant and wash down with a cup of Miss Grey...we couldn't start the day any other way!

  1. Pour hot water over the tea and leave to brew for about 8 minutes.

  2. Peel apples, remove seeds and cut into small cubes.

  3. Pour the tea through a sieve into a cooking pot. Add apple cubes, jam sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice and simmer for 5 minutes.

  4. Pour the jam into 5 hot rinsed glasses, close and let cool.
