mymuesli | our ingredients

The ingredients are most important. They all come from organic production. Our muesli does not contain colourings or flavourings, flavour enhancers or other additives such as sugar.
If you order with us, choose a muesli base first. You'll find addiontional information about the base and some of the ingredients.
In a second step you can enhance the base and add ingredients of the categories Fruits, Nuts & Seeds as well as Extras Then just order - and a few days later you'll get your individual muesli delivered to your home.

We always try to find new ingredients for our muesli and improve our selection. Any suggestions? Don't like an ingredient or want to suggest new ones? Just tell us. Phil's caring about it.

We have divided our ingredients in the following categories:
muesli base |  basic ingredients |  fruits |  nuts & seeds |  extras |

Crunchy and Oat

Crunchy and Oat

This is with out a doubt our crunchiest muesli mix! With delicious crunchies refined with oat flakes and ... yes, well, the rest it is just really crunchy! The Crunchy party has some really persuasive arguments with Crunchy and Oat so even the Soft Party must admit. tasty, tasty, tasty A blast actually. But see for yourself.

Oat flakes, wheat flakes, can sugar, palm butter, unhydrogenated fat, barley flakes, puffed rice, honey, cinnamon less

Damn Nutritious

Damn Nutritious

A mixture for traditionalists: it contains the classic cereals, with a healthy promise. For even more flavour we recommend combining it with fruits or nuts and it will just make you want to go: “Hey tin, I want you, so come over here you classy muesli, you!”

Barley flakes, spelt flakes, oat flakes

Five Grains

Five Grains

Five is alive: the five grains mix is very popular with our muesli aficionados. Hardly surprising - it contains the best of the five grains. You simply can’t go wrong with this basic mix.

wheat flakes, oat flakes, rye flakes, spelt flakes, barley flakes

Poppy Seeds Power

Poppy Seeds Power

Poppy seeds are a real hit in your muesli. We do not understand why no other producer has realized that until now. But "Poppy seeds power" also contains other tasty ingredients such as buckwheat or whole-meal cornflakes. 'cause we admit: Only poppy seeds? That couldn't pass for a muesli at all.

wholemeal flakes, buckwheat flakes, barley flakes, poppy seeds

Porridge

Porridge

Our fine porridge flakes are milled especially for us. Let them soak in milk over night you’ll get the perfect basis for every Bircher-Muesli. Tip: don't forget about the grained apple!

Pure Oat Flakes

Pure Oat Flakes

Due to popular demand - and not just among the purists – we now also offer our whole-meal oat flakes as a muesli base. These tasty flakes can of course be customized with further ingredients in the “enhance your muesli base” section. Minimalists, on the other hand, can start spooning up and just take in the pure flavour!

Qi

Qi

Qi is our wellness mix. In addition to rice and soy flakes, staple foods across Asia (where most of the modern forms of wellness practices have their origin) we have also included buckwheat. Why? Because it contains many essential substances and (what we consider equally important) tastes absolutely delicious too!

soy flakes, rice flakes, buckwheat flakes

Sunshine

Sunshine

If you’re into that rise and shine feeling in the morning, then the sunshine mix is the one for you. It contains the best ingredients - sunny sunflower seeds and everything good from wheat fields bathing in the morning sun. Ready, set, go, dear muesli friends, the summer is at your doorstep - all year long!

wheat flakes, millet flakes, sunflower seeds

Tropica

Tropica

Honey pops and coconut flakes give our Tropica basic mix an air of sun and palm trees. Especially if you like to add loads of dried pineapple. Mango and papaya also blend perfectly with it. Who needs a vacation when the tropics are just a breakfast away?

barley flakes, oat flakes, wheat honey pops, coconut flakes

Wednesday

Wednesday

Our Wednesday base scores with its wholesome cereals and is just perfect to combine with all our other ingredients. If wednesday sounds too middle-of-the-week to you, don't worry: the crunchy rye flakes make all the difference! Just give it a try - it's good all week long!

wheat flakes, oat flakes, rye flakes

White Plains

White Plains

For snow bunnies: a softer mix (Max's favourite). Gentle in taste, it is the ideal basis for our nuts or fruit. On these white plains (pun intended) their flavours really shine!

spelt flakes, buckwheat, amaranth

basic ingredients

Amaranth Boons

Amaranth Boons

They’re so tasty! Seriously! Truth be told, we were really chuffed when we discovered this ingredient some time ago - who knew you could make such gorgeous things out of amaranth?. But if amaranth flakes are too soft for your tastes, try these guys for a crunchier experience!

Amaranth Flakes

Amaranth Flakes

Amaranth is one of the oldest “cereals” cultivated by man (note: sticklers like to point out that amaranth is not really a cereal at all and that what you are eating are really the seeds of the grains of the plant). Amaranth is currently on everyone's lips and we do not want to miss out on it in our mueslis either. Plus we offer the organic version for an even better taste. Like soy, amaranth is an ingredient with great potential to recharge your batteries after an exhausting day! Please note that we also offer amaranth pops for all of you who think the flakes are too soft.

Barley Flakes

Barley Flakes

Among other things, barley is employed in the production of whisky. However, for many countries, barley is foremost a staple food (in some cases whiskey is too). We, on the other hand, set great store in barley as a muesli ingredient. Especially for whole-meal lovers like us, they are a real treat – and healthy! You can also find them in the Tropica and Five Grain basic muesli mixes…

Buckwheat Flakes

Buckwheat Flakes

Buckwheat is a common and popular ingredient in cooking because of its great taste – but it also has great potential as a component in mueslis. Buckwheat is a very sensitive plant - possibly the reason why its cultivation has decreased over the last couple of years. It’s a shame really: buckwheat is mild, tasty, and contains many essential nutrients.

Linseed

Linseed

Originally cultivated only for fabric and cloth production, the flax seed or linseed, has recently gained popularity in alternative medicine and as an ingredient. And it’s a trend that's still in full swing. We are fans of the little dark-brown seeds, too! Max is a real devotee and likes to combine them with whole-meal flakes and the Chocolate Dream basic mix.

Millet Flakes

Millet Flakes

Spelt millet has been around on this earth for hundreds of thousands of years and has been a staple food for many civilizations: the Greek philosopher Pythagorus recommended millet as a healthy aliment, for the Chinese, millet was part of the five holy plants and Attila the Hun is said to have offered his guests millet - exclusively. For our mueslis traditional wholesome ingredients are a must - you‘ll find millet flakes as an ingredient in the Sunshine basis mix.

Oat Bran

Oat Bran

Oat bran is especially beneficial for the lipometabolism and can even be employed in the treatment of high cholesterol levels. It binds gall salts which then cease to absorb fat from the food.

Oat Flakes

Oat Flakes

In order to get oat flakes, the cereal is first steamed and then crushed. Well worth the trouble: our oat flakes are ideal to kick-start your day or for a muesli snack in between, because “oat flakes for breakfast provide a boost for slack, stressed-out, exhausted men’s bodies” (Men’s Health). These energizer flakes are often used as a nutritious supplement in bodybuilding; so, pump it up and enjoy!

Poppy Seeds

Poppy Seeds

Even Elaine from one of our favourite sitcoms “Seinfeld” has already been positively tested for opiates due to her almost obsessive attitude towards poppy seed muffins (has anyone recorded the episode by the way?). You would have to eat huge amounts of our muesli, however, in order to reach that kind of opiate level. We recommend muesli with poppy seeds in combination with corn crispers which you can find in the extras. Warning: this muesli combination is addictive!

Quinoa Flakes

Quinoa Flakes

Just like amaranth, quinoa is originally from South America. They are both grown at high altitudes, where "ordinary" cereals like corn and wheat throw in the towel. We love quinoa, because it goes with just about anything – chocolate muesli or cereal-fruit-bomb. As a matter of fact, a muesli containing quinoa just sounds sophisticated. Bon appetit!

Rice Flakes

Rice Flakes

Rice is the principal food for over half of the population in the world. In some languages the word for rice is even the equivalent of the word for food. Our mymuesli organic rice flakes are an ideal ingredient for mueslis - all the essential organic nutrients remain, unlike with processed, polished rice. Throw in some vitamin C from our range of dried fruit and it's nutrients galore!

Rye Flakes

Rye Flakes

You simply must try our organic rye flakes. We have absolutely no clue why rye is considered an underdog in the muesli scene. That’s something we are definitely set out to change! You will find them in our Five-Grain basic mix. Just remember: as an extra ingredient for other basic mixes it is always a great choice, too.

Sesame Seeds

Sesame Seeds

Sesame is one of the oldest cultivated plants in the world – and it is specifically famous as the oldest plant from which oil is produced. 50% of the sesame seeds is oil which is a healthy alternative to olive oil. Reason enough not to underestimate sesame as a muesli ingredient and to add it to your mix!

Soy Flakes

Soy Flakes

Cultivated across the Asian continent for more than 5,000 years, the soy bean’s reputation has been rather bad for some time now: South American soy farmers destroy the rain forest so hardcore greenies have started to demonise it. We can guarantee that no part of the rain forest had to die in order to produce our organic soy flakes – the soy is cultivated in Austria. Some muesli facts: the soy bean is considered an excellent source of energy and contains lots of healthy nutrients. Please note, however, that it has a very dominant flavour. We are ardent fans, but they might not be everybody’s cup of tea.

Spelt Boons

Spelt Boons

Our organic cereal boons have absolutely nothing in common with the mass products you get from your local supermarket. This is true for the wheat honey version as well as for our spelt friends. Don’t let them soak in milk for too long though! Not if you like them crunchy anyway. Oh, and you should always put the lid back on your can of muesli, too (air contains moisture!). The spelt boons are perfect for all of you muesli fans who don’t like it too sweet. And if you do like it sweet, the wheat honey version is perfect for you.

Spelt Flakes

Spelt Flakes

Our organic spelt flakes are a really good bet for all those in need of lots of energy (not to mention all the healthy nutrients they contain). Spelt was cultivated as early as the Stone Age and even today the plant still has a lot to offer. Apart from wheat, spelt has the the most essential nutrients of any cereal. What’s just as important: spelt is scrumptious!

Wheat and Honey Boons

Wheat and Honey Boons

Our organic cereal boons have absolutely nothing in common with the mass products you can get in your local supermarket. We love them - they simply make muesli a little more exciting and they are really, really crunchy (provided you don’t leave them soak too long!). They are sweetened with honey, so there is absolutely no need for additional sugar in your muesli. But remember: always keep the can closed properly, so the boons don’t get soft.

Wheat Flakes

Wheat Flakes

Wheat is the most widely cultivated cereal in the world. We're baffled that some people still underestimate this yummy cereal and denounce it as unhealthy. We say Bogus! We love wheat as a great source of energy - on exhausting days in the muesli factory or on quests for new muesli ingredients.

Wholemeal Cornflakes

Wholemeal Cornflakes

Here’s a fact that some of you might not be aware of: cornflakes were invented by the doctor Harvey Kellogg and his brother Keith in 1894. Legend has it: complete coincidence. Anyway, cornflakes will always be in style! Our organic cornflakes are whole-meal products and the corn is grown in Germany. All the ingredients used in the production process are organic. Just to remind you: all our products are organic.

to the top

fruits

Apple Bits

Apple Bits

Just like all our other ingredients the mymuesli apple bits (dried) are organic, too. By keeping the peel, more healthy nutrients remain. Real apple lovers wouldn’t have it any other way – “peeled apples? Preposterous!”

Apricots

Apricots

Translated the word apricot means “plum from Armenia“. Surprisingly enough, apricots came to Armenia presumably from China. The Turks cultivated apricots in Hungary. Today, the fruit is cultivated in the Mediterranean area. Like all our other fruit, the apricots are dried and cut into little bits.

Bananas

Bananas

Bananas make you happy. But in this case we’re the happy ones because we can offer you something quite special: freeze dried bananas! So what’s so good about that? Well they’re not fried like in traditional mueslis so not only is there less fat but much more real banana taste. In order to have the best taste possible we specially selected the Cavendish banana. These banana farms developed in 1953 when they were already some of the oldest in the world. The Cavendish banana was originally grown in Southern Asia and is now cultivated in Colombia.

Cranberries

Cranberries

Cranberries are healthy – the Native Americans already found that out a long time ago and which is why they also used them to heal various ailments. Please note: They are sweetened with apple syrup.

Dates

Dates

Dates, the fruit of the date palm, are some of the first fruit to have been cultivated by man. In many regions they are even a staple food food.

Figs

Figs

A truely european fruit! In ancient times, figs were appreciated as a source of energy and as medication. Due to their natural sweetness, they are a healthy alternative to sugar in sweet mueslis.

Grapes

Grapes

Grapes are an essential muesli ingredient for many people. Contrary to sultanas, they are slightly darker and sun-dried between the vines on wax paper. This gives them a unique taste. Why waste them for wine?

Mango

Mango

From our own experience we know that mango trees can get really huge - but it is well worthwhile to pick the fruit despite the danger of falling. In India, mangos have long been considered an essential source of goodness, they are said to have healthy effects on the brain for example. Whether they really increase intelligence we cannot wholeheartedly say: their unique taste is reason enough to add them to our muesli mix!

Morello Cherries

Morello Cherries

Sour cherries are also called morello cherries. A fact that's puzzled us since our childhood. The explanation is rather simple: the best sour cherries are cultivated near the Château de Moreilles in France. Its nutrients are just the same as the ones in sweet cherries. They can contain cherry pits! can contain cherry pits!

may contain cherry pits!

Papaya

Papaya

Papayas are mainly cultivated in tropical and sub-tropical areas. Their taste is subtly sweet and mild. The Arawak Indians call the ten metre high trees "pawpaw" and the tasty fruit of these trees have been supplying them with vital nutrients for a long time. Tip! Try some papaya with our Tropica basic mix!

Physalis

Physalis

Cape Gooseberry or Bubble Berry is probably better known by the average joe for its exotic liaison with a sweet yet acidic flavor. We brought it all the all the way from Ecuador so could it be munched by you. Naturally, it’s organic and dried to best conserve the flavor. Tip! it goes great with our Chrunchies!

Pineapple

Pineapple

The word pineapple is a little confusing, because the fruit doesn’t grow on pine trees and it certainly is not an apple. It really doesn't matter though: pineapples are just so deliciously tasty! Dried, they lose none of their tropical goodness, so Philipp just can’t do without them!

Plums

Plums

In Germany, we are crazy about Bratwurst - but every German citizen also eats approximately 1.7 kg of plums a year as far as statistics go. It‘s not suprising: plums can help improve digestion and its fruit and peeling contain lots of healthy vitamens and nutrients, so why not try some today?

Raisins

Raisins

Raisins in muesli or not? A highly controversial problem since not everybody likes dried grapes. Whether you like them or not, they are healthy: Mothers all over Europe know exactly why they put raisins in pastries!

Raisins (green)

Raisins (green)

Wow, now that’s pretty - greens raisins. We just adore this precious brother of the classical raisin and the premium raisins have already turned into an evergreen over here. We recommend the exclusive mix, i.e. add macadamias, pistachios and goji berries and then it's off to St. Tropez!

Raspberries

Raspberries

The raspberry has come a long way, historically seen that is: it they came from Crete, to be precise. We offer it as a whole fruit - it looks gorgeous and tastes fantastically. Try our favourite combination: try it with white chocolate (such as our corn crisper)!

Strawberries

Strawberries

Delicious bits, ruby treasures - just dreamy in a premium muesli, no matter what the flavour: chocolate or fruit. You need to try it!

to the top

nuts & seeds

Almonds

Almonds

Yes, alright, thanks for the info: Almonds are stone fruits not nuts. We think their taste fits in better with the nuts. Anyhow, our chopped almonds are simply this: tasty and precious. They go with just about anything, but they are perfect in combination with chocolate ingredients which you can find in the extras section.

Brazil Nuts

Brazil Nuts

The power boost for moments of utter exhaustion – that’s why the Brazil Nut is a friend in your muesli. With its first class aroma this nut has left us nuts for more!

Cashews

Cashews

We love cashews because of their subtle and well-rounded, mild taste. And they’re healthy too! Plus, in contrast to the little demanding cashew tree, the seeds fulfill even the highest demands of nutters all around the globe. So bon appetit!

Cedar Nuts

Cedar Nuts

Oh yes Lara, I have. And they are delicious, really!. Of course they are from Russia. What did you expect? After all those are the best Cedar Nuts available, the original ones so to speak. You should try them!

Coconut Chips

Coconut Chips

A tropical mix without coconut chips is simply unimaginable. Naturally, we have included them in our range; however, we have opted for the unsweetened version which is healthier. Oh, yes: they're organic, too!

coconut unsweetened

Coconut Flakes

Coconut Flakes

Coconut flakes are made from the white flesh of the coconut. We love our organic coconut flakes, because they make your muesli really crunchy and give it a sweet, tropical aroma. The ideal mix is a combination with our fruit. Real tropical mix fans know what it’s all about…

Hazelnut

Hazelnut

A useless fact to boast of at your next party: hazel wood is essential for the production of divining rods. Now for the benefits: the seeds are real energy packs, full of protein and other essential nutrients. Another fact: its biological name is avellana which means "coming from Avelinno" (somewhere in Italy). The Romans brought the bush to Italy and cultivated it there.

Hemp Nuts

Hemp Nuts

Hemp is an incredibly versatile plant. However, in muesli it is a whole new experience – mind-boggling as it may be. But don’t worry, you will still be able to drive: the THC content is of course strictly adherent to legal regulations. Try our stripped hemp nuts to give a bit of crunch to your muesli.

Hemp Nuts, stripped

Hemp Nuts, stripped

Hemp really is an incredible plant. It was used by sailors to make ropes back in the day and you can find it in Chinese movie theaters instead of popcorn (plus it’s a very environmentally friendly plant). However, in muesli it is a whole twist on things – mind-blowing as it may be. But don’t worry, you will still be able to drive: the THC content is of course strictly adherent to legal regulations. Unstripped hemp nuts give your muesli a softer bite.

Macadamia

Macadamia

This precious nut is named after the scientist John McAdam. The macadamia tree only bears fruit after about seven years. When they are ripe, they are collected and the skin is peeled off. Oh, there is so much to say about this Australian treasure – if you would like to find out more, just contact the Australian Macadamia Society.

Peanuts

Peanuts

Peanuts represent the ideal ingredient for your muesli: Our unsalted peanuts go perfectly with every other mymuesli ingredient. We do not understand why no one hit on it before us..

Pecans

Pecans

Welcome dear Pecan! As a member of the walnut family you are naturally very welcome not only because of your wonderful taste - no! you are also the official state tree of Texas and the Native Americans liked you tremendously. This definitely pleases us and all muesli friends alike.

Pine Nuts

Pine Nuts

Our pine nuts are completely different from the regular, mostly cheap exports in their “good” fat content and because they are naturally organic. They have a positive effect on the carbohydrate metabolism; they are even said to stimulate the brain! Their characteristics as source of energy and their specific bite make them a healthy and exciting muesli ingredient. Even more so, we have never heard of conventional mueslis with pine nuts. But then again, this, we do say with some pride, also applies for most other ingredients we have in our range.

Pistachios

Pistachios

Wow. The price per kilo for pistachios always stokes us. Still, we could not and would not want to do without. Simply because they are not only very healthy (for example they contain vitamins A, B1, B2 and B3) but have a simply unique taste, too!

Pumpkin Seeds

Pumpkin Seeds

Due to their healthy nutrients, pumpkin seeds are true all-rounders: they are not only an ideal snack (preferably salted), they are also a first class muesli ingredient. Muesli lovers like to add pumpkin seeds mainly to our fruit mueslis. Our Max for example loves them in all kinds of combination…

Sunflower Seeds

Sunflower Seeds

mymuesli organic sunflower seeds are rich in many essential nutrients – extremely healthy so to speak! Ideal for people who work in front of computer screens all day - they are vitalizing for the eyes!

Walnuts

Walnuts

The Romans called walnuts "Iovis glans" – the royal Jupiter nut. Even at that time they knew: walnuts contain many essential nutrients. We think walnuts are specifically great because of their unique taste; especially during the winter...
